Frame Characteristics


-70mm depth allows for the replacement of traditional 3" timber frames without excessive remedial work

- Fully welded and grooved corners, mullions and transoms with concealed drainage with 4mm up stand in chamber

- Internally beaded as standard

Appearance


- Available in white, mahogany (on brown), mahogany on white and golden oak (on caramel)

- Choice of ogee or bevelled beading and 50 degree bevels provide window with slim sightlines

- Available in open-in or open-out styles and therefore suitable for a variety of installations

Locking System


- Steel central deadbolt, hook bolts and compression roller cams, with keeps screwed into steel reinforcement

- Night latch facility prevents entry once door is closed

- 'Snib' feature avoids lockouts by disengaging system on lever/pad option

- Generous adjustment on rollers and keeps

- French patio features standard residential locking system, with 2 finger bolts on slave door

Hinge System


- Four powerful hinges fitted as standard - endurance tested to 175,000 cycles and strong enough to carry 80kg per hinge

- Simple 4mm horizontal adjustment without affecting compression

Steel Reinforcement


- Galvanised steel reinforcement used to manufacturer's specification where necessary

- All wood grain and wood grain on white frames are fully reinforced as a matter of course

Handles


- Quality cast aluminium handles lever/lever or lever/pad (teardrop design)

Glazing


- Internally glazed as standard and accepts 28mm glass units

- Equalisation holes in frames to aid drainage

Fixings


- Superior quality screws used throughout - test to 500 salt spray hours and guaranteed for 10 years

Gaskets


- Flush fitting gasket for clear sightlines incorporates dual clear line gasket or post-extruded gasket system

Security

High security glazing


  • 7 point locking offering all round security as standard
  • Locks and keeps made from strong, corrosion resistant stainless steel and screwed into reinforcement
  • Deadbolt protects the centre of the door whilst the hooks face inwards providing anti-lift strength
  • Rollercams smoothly guide the lock into position and provide the compression to weatherseal the door
  • Dogbolts secure the hinge side of the door into the steel reinforced frame
  • Four powerful hinges fitted as standard
  • Galvanised steel reinforcement used to manufacturer's specification

High Security Glazing


The added protection of high security glazing - inner pane of toughened safety glass outer pane of laminated glass.
