For this large-scale project, we were tasked with designing two flights of helical staircases. The treads were made using dark walnut, contrasting with the interior's light colours. The balustrade was made using stainless steel and added for stability, but the handrail is made of wood in order to match this interior's unique character. The helical staircase was constructed around an oval floor void.
