High security glazing
The added protection of high security glazing - inner pane of toughened safety glass outer pane of laminated glass.
Laminated glass is exactly what it says - a laminate of two sheets of glass bonded to a central layer of highly resilient plastic. Hit it and the shattered glass will be held in place by the tough bonding of the central layer of plastic making the pane extremely difficult to remove.
Safety
The restrictor hinge limits the opening of the window, keeping small children safe and secure. A pressure pad concealed within the hinge mechanism allows the window to be opened fully by an adult.
